    Co-Director (Developments and Partnerships)

    Leah is a co-founder of Compass and been there since day one! She works as senior producer and manages the developments and partnerships. She's managed some of the larger projects including partnerships with the Shakespearer's Globe, Somerset House and the National Youth Theatre.

    She's good at balancing a lot of things, perhaps because she can unicycle. If you have a project or a collaboration in mind, get in touch with her.

  • MHAIRI GAYER

    Co-Director (Young Persons Cordinator & Fundraising)

    Mhairi is a Co-Founder of Compass and has been there right from the beginning. She has a background in the arts, having trained as an actor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She has developed and led many of our projects and is passionate about supporting our Young People to reach their full potential.

    She is currently our Lead Fundraiser and Young Persons Coordinator, welcoming new young people into the Collective. When not working, she can be found climbing, hiking, running and cycling, most likely in the mountains.

  • LEILA SEGUIN

    Co-Director (Operations Officer)

    Leila has been with Compass Collective since February 2020 where she first worked at the young person coordinator to become the finance and operations officer. She is also the Lead Safeguarding Officer. Leila is a French musician with a background in International Relations. She has a Masters degree in Development Studies during which she wrote a thesis on the restorative role music can play in helping refugees rebuild their lives and integrate into the UK. She worked for 5 years as Project Coordinator at the British Red Cross supporting young refugees and asylum seekers. She has also been involved in many cultural projects supporting vulnerable communities through music and arts. Having lived in Palestine , Jordan and Lebanon, she has recently returned to the international development and humanitarian sectors supporting democracy strengthening ( WFD) and educational programmes ( War Child) in the Middle East. She is currently learning Arabic and loves spending time in Corsica where her family is from.

  • PATRICK RILEY

    Co-Director (Head of Facilitation)

    Patrick is an actor and facilitator working regularly with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain as one of their associate artists. He is responsible for running auditions, workshops and masterclasses across the UK. Patrick also works with vulnerable groups recently working in Jordan creating and performing in a show for Syrian, Palestinian and Jordanian refugees. Patrick is in charge of facilitating projects and directs alongside the Compass team. He also likes long walks on the beach, gaming and Liverpool Football club.
